Protokoll des 17.Treffens

Am 19. April 1999 fand unser 17. Treffen statt. Herr Kent Beck berichtete zum Thema:

"eXtreme Computing"

Hierzu lese man in den Seiten:

Armaties  eXtreme programming

Außerdem liegt folgender abstract von Kent Beck vor:

"Modern technology and techniques can flatten the exponential cost curve measured in the 70s. Since this is the fundamental assumption on which software engineering rests, if we can keep change cheap, we must re-examine all of our development practices. Extreme Programming (or XP) is a method that follows cheap change to its logical conclusions. Some of its
distinguishing practices are:
  * Careful unit testing of all code
  * Putting a small, valuable system in production early and following up
with frequent releases incorporating what the business people and programmers learn
  * Continual evolution of the design of the system
  * Pair programming

The workshop will focus on two areas in the morning- planning and testing. The afternoon will some of the many practices that make up the remainder of  XP."
